Hi there!

When Randy told me he was writing a book, specifically a book about us, I couldn't have been more surprised than if he'd told me he wanted to play Justin for another fifteen years. Randy has always preferred to keep his private life private, and frankly so have I. In fact, this book is really the first time either one of us has publicly discussed our relationship.

Then, one day, as I was pondering over the metaphysical differences this possible opening up of our relationship wrought, Randy explained it to me. The book wasn't going to be our most personal, private moments - it would be what helped us reach those moments, what spurred us on to take our relationship further than just friendship.

Given that reasoning, I could do nothing other than encourage Randy and make him mint juleps when he got too thirsty. If this book could help another couple realise the truth and reach their potential, I couldn't object.

So, here it is. The almost true process of how Randy lived up to his name.
